Cambridge's newest luxury apartment community has achieved a development milestone as it enters into its interior finishing phase.
The 265-unit AVA North Point development will deliver six stories of luxury apartments to East Cambridge's bustling Leighton street. This construction will mark the third AvalonBay construction in the area, following the 426-unit Avalon North Point building and the 103-unit Avalon North Point lofts.

Formerly known as Archstone, Avalon North Point redefined luxury living in East Cambridge, offering stylish studios, and one-, two- and three-bedrooms. Its world-class unit features include bamboo cabinetry, breakfast bars, designer lighting, spacious closets and kitchen islands while amenities comprise an indoor heated pool, a private theater, a sports club and an internet lounge.
Avalon North Point quickly became one of the neighborhood's most highly sought-after luxury residences, and AvalonBay Communities established their status as distinctive developers with a strong commitment to the vitality of local communities.
East Cambridge's Flourishing Community
By early 2016, Avalon North Point's second phase development underwent excavation. The new project will deliver two six-story wood-framed residential buildings next door to Avalon North Point at the vibrant intersection of Leighton Street and Glassworks Avenue. This section of East Cambridge has seen rapid growth in recent years, with several high-rise residences conveniently situated nearby a wealth of parks, shopping plazas, and chef-owned restaurants. Our map below highlights a few of the residences in the locale, including North Point (Sierra and Tango), Avalon North Point and Regatta Riverview.
